Beedie Construction commenced building in 1946 and was incorporated in 1954 with a focus on high quality construction. In 1990, the umbrella company for Beedie Construction Ltd., The Beedie Group was formed to encompass finance, property management, design, and land development. The Beedie Group has built more than 500 industrial buildings, totaling over 17 million square feet for business owners all over the Lower Mainland. With a focus on high quality concrete tilt-up construction coupled with attention to esthetic design, Beedie Construction has been the exclusive developer in Meridian Industrial Park in Port Coquitlam, Riverway and Riverpointe Business parks in North Delta, and primary developer in Business Parks such as Pacific Reach in Coquitlam, Burnaby Business Park in the Big Bend area of South Burnaby, and Gloucester Industrial Estates in Langley to name a few.

Given our presence in British Columbia, reputation and high standards, Beedie Construction has built solid long term relationships with all our trades and suppliers. We work together to constantly refine and improve our building practices as well as the quality of products we use. As a forward thinking company we also have a keen interest in sustainability and have developed Green initiatives in the construction of our buildings. Our basic building specifications have been developed and fine tuned to include energy efficient items such as skylights, efficient light fixtures, and insulated warehouse walls.

While The Beedie Group has diversified over the years to include a significant portfolio of industrial and commercial buildings as well as considerable land holdings our core business has always been construction. Beedie Construction’s project managers and site superintendents have extensive experience constructing a multitude of industrial facilities from highly specialized manufacturing buildings and food processing facilities to logistics and distribution centers and corporate head offices.

Our construction team specialize in the design build process and reliably deliver quality product to our clients. Our Project Management team maintains an open line of communication with our clients keeping them informed of all matters during the design process and construction phase to ensure that their needs are met and more than satisfied. A single point of contact with the project manager ensures continuity over the course of the project allowing the client to focus on their own business.

The Project Management Team

• Liase between the client and consultants during the design process to ensure all client needs are met.
• Manage and coordinate all phases of the permitting process with all governing authorities.
• Acquire then coordinate all subtrades with our site personnel.
• Are responsible for cost control and accounting
• Provide Project Reporting
• Oversee completion of the project and coordinate inspections through to final occupancy of the building.
