Award renamed to honour generous contributions of local donors.

Keith and Betty Beedie were honoured recipients of Burnaby Hospital Foundation’s Distinguished Patron Award at the inaugural Diamonds in the Sky gala on May 4, 2013. During the award presentation, Tinu Mathur, Chair of Burnaby Hospital Foundation, announced that the award will be renamed the Keith & Betty Beedie Award for Leadership in Philanthropy.

“As strong pillars of the British Columbia community, Keith and Betty Beedie continuously lead by example. Through their caring and passion they demonstrate the difference one can make by giving back,” says Tinu Mathur, Chair, Burnaby Hospital Foundation. “Their generous contributions to Burnaby Hospital Foundation throughout the years have helped so many. Naming this award for them honours their exceptional leadership in supporting Burnaby Hospital through philanthropic endeavours.”
