Keith Beedie
Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Keith Beedie founded this company on the principles of uncompromising quality in construction, outstanding customer service and loyalty to his employees.
In early 1946, when he was just 19 years old, Keith Beedie constructed his first concrete block building with his 19 year old friend, Fred Banbury. The kindness, generosity and trust of Wally Hammond provided him with up-to-date woodworking equipment for his shop. Since then, he has worked to create a name for himself in Vancouver’s construction and development industry.
Keith also looks after the "Keith and Betty Beedie Foundation" which supports the Burnaby Hospital, Endowments to BCIT, SFU and various other worth while projects including a recent donation of $1,350,000 (50%) of the purchase price for an MRI for the Burnaby Hospital. In September 2008, the foundation completed a Medical Clinic in Sri Lanka to replace one lost in the devastating Tsunami of December 26, 2004.
An autobiography on his life and accomplishments is currently on our website. It can be found under our history page.
